Waking up not too late and actually feeling ok surprisingly after such a heavy drinking day. We head out to breakfast going to a trendy local cafe which does the most amazing fruit juice mix and fruit salad. Maybe because im massively dehydrated I like it so much! So to try and wash off any hangover we all go to Brighton Beach for most of the day. Bex meets us a little after thankfully bringing lemon ice lollies, which are wolfed down. The water isn’t too wavey so easier to swim in and feels so refreshing, totally washing away the previous day haha, while also not needing to go out very far to swim, as it’s deep enough so no shark worries ☺. We stay there for a good couple of hours before decide to head back and chill as some of the girls feel like had too much sun as it’s pretty strong.
For dinner we head further along Trigg Beach to get some traditional fish and chips at Kailis, which are definitely worth the hype and long wait. This beach area has only recently been refurbed and is such a cool place to come to watch the sunset and relax for the evening, doing lots of people and dog watching admiring how much Perth is an active and outside lifestyle. So easy to enjoy.
For another day of chilling we head to same beach as yesterday after picking up McGregor from the airport to get a swim in. As he arrived straight from a night shift and 22 days of working, he needs to head back to sleep so I stay down with Bex soaking up the rays, having cool chat and making the most of the sea which I love swimming in. Good conditions again with some bigger waves as the afternoon gets later, but nothing too crazy making them quite fun!
