A Cambodian Re-union with McKay

So it’s always nice to re meet up with people from the travels and today is a reunion with Scott McKay from Cambodia and Abby Page’s friend brother. Meets me outside Nomads hostel at 9am and we drive to Devonport – Mount Victoria, which has amazing views of Auckland skyline and the islands. It’s cool to catchup generally with Scott and hear how the rest of his travels were as been a good 4 months since was in Cambodia. We have a bit of a walk about at the top and he points out the old army barracks and navy base as there from the war when they thought would need to defend NZ.

After the mount we head to find Bex from Perth her sisters cafe William Souter Espresso for breakfast and to say been to see it. Have a nice granola yoghurt to give me energy for the day and Scott goes for a breakfast wrap that looked nice too.  Enjoying a nice pot of tea, while we chat it’s quite busy at the cafe. We stay there for bit before having to leave to get back into town for a midday ferry to Rangitoto.
