A day in the garden re-landscaping it

So now that Tamara and McGregor own their lovely house, they can make changes to it and after getting the nice table the next job is to make a nice grass area along the top wall so they can sit out in the sun. It’s a lot of work removing all the stone slabs, small stones and then smoothing out the soil as currently it is tiered but the plan is to make it into a slope. It’s a 2 day job in total, but the day is spent mainly getting it all ready for the next stage of laying the grass, with a decision made to use real grass rather than fake it is more important the foundations are all right for it to grow.

So as McGregor is working away, I’m just chilling in the garden helping every now and then and making sure he isn’t dying of thirst in the heat. Using the time to research and contact surfing camps in Bali as that is the next mini adventure, it is all pretty relaxed.

Deciding in the afternoon to head on little henry again for a cycle ride to the beach, after the long ride to Cottesloe once I start riding it proves to be too hard on the legs as not let them rest up yet, so just head to the Karinyup mall instead. Grabbing a frozen coke and sitting out in the sun for a bit, before having a quick mooch in the mall and looking for hair conditioners and picking up nice sausages for the BBQ dinner. It’s nice to be able to have to these sort of days where can catch-up on job and just rest!

Rest of the evening is just spent doing the BBQ, as Tamara is out for a birthday Cirque Soleil adrenline show and then watching a bit more of the Zeitgiest.
