Last day in Agnes and up early for a Lazy Lizard Surf School lesson as its only $22 and they take you to a more secluded beach with good waves for learning on. Worth it just for that and the board hire, but the actual lesson is terrible and it’s just one older lady doing everything on her own vs black dog who had two young and strong guys so also means everyone is sitting about a lot as she does it all one on one. She even lost a board on the road as it fell off on route so was struggling. It didn’t make much difference to me as I just went off and did on surf but she did come over once to check on me and said I was surfing beautifully so good to hear as she does know her stuff, just too much on her own.
After the lesson the rest of the day is chilling at the hostel with Craig until we head out for the sunset tour again. A nice group all different apart from me and Craig, with a guy called Henry I met in Noosa, a nice Scottish group and also bump into Nayf from Noosa on the rocks which is cool. The sunset is pretty beautiful tonight, but we end up staying there too long as they need to do two trips to hostel as too many people and end up getting bitten alive and all trying to run away from them it’s so bad. I end up with about 30bites on each leg plus more on the body and so spend rest of night scratching, which is not ideal when there is a 12 hour bus ride ahead. After the tour I just kill time at the hostel having few drinks to help me sleep. Canadian Kayley arrives too at the hostel who I met in Rainbow Beach ob tge dunes tour so it’s fun to catch up with her before I leave.
