Fifer Drinks at the Aviary and Rooftop Movies

Today have arranged to meet Claire and Mark – Shona’s friend from sunny Scotland in Perth as they are here for a few weeks staying with family.

Before I had to the Aviary I do a quick cycle ride to Mettam’s Pool which is about 20mins away when google maps doesn’t take you the long way round. It’s an ok cycle with s few steep hills along the way so great for the thighs! I manage to get some snorkelling in when I get there and see some fish. Nothing like gili haha but some cool ones with no idea what they are. I can only stay long enough to dry off as need to get back to head to town.

The first time using the train, the local station Stirling is super close to town only taking 10minutes. The aviary when I arrive is quite busy and Claire and Mark are there already with a nice bottle of prosecco waiting, so nice surprise! The afternoon goes really quickly as we catchup as been so long so arrange to do a day trip out Thursday together which is fab. Tamara only works 5mins away so meets us for a quick drink before we need to head to our Roof Top Movie, which was meant to be 8 of us, but only ended up being 3 with T’s friemfj as poor McG had a migraine – gutting as we chose the “boy” film for him watching Creed. Awesome setting sitting on beanbags to watch it with the building’s in the backdrop one being where Tamara works. We get a good sunset too, but its pretty cold once it does and luckily T brought her scarf. The film is entertaining (just a bit cliche) and it always amuses me when you come out of films like that all the boys are pretending to be rocky lol. The other amusing event after the film there is an absolute crack head at one of the bottom exits who is actually spitting at the mouth, kicking the door while leaning andblooking crazed like she will rip us apart if we walk past haha. #WalkingDead
